Ingredients
- 12 ounces Tortilla chips
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Taco seasoning
- 0.25 cup Water
- 1 cup Black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 ounce Jalapeño, sliced
- 0.5 cup Tomatoes, diced
- 0.25 cup Red onion, diced
- 0.5 cup Sour cream
- 0.5 cup Guacamole
- 2 tablespoons Green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread tortilla chips in an even layer on a large baking sheet.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Spread seasoned beef evenly over the chips and cheese.
- Add black beans and jalapeño slices.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes, red onions, sour cream, and guacamole.
- Garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.
