Irish Soda Farls

Irish soda farls are traditional griddle breads with a crisp outside and tender, fluffy center. Made with baking soda instead of yeast, they're quick to cook and prefect warm with butter or jam.

Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 each Salt
Directions
- Preheat skillet on low heat
- Place flour an salt in a bowl and sift in baking soda. Make a well in the center and pour in the buttermilk
- Mix to form dough and kneed onto floured surface. Form into a flattened circle, about 1/2 inch thick and cut into quarters with a floured knife.
- Cook farls for 6-8 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
