Ingredients
- 1 pound 97/3 Extra Lean Ground Beef
- 24 ounces Jar Pasta Sauce
- 16 ounces Low Fat Cottage Cheese
- 15 ounces Barilla Protein Spaghetti
- 0.5 cup Fat Free Fairlife Milk
- 0.5 cup Reduced Fat Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- 0.5 tablespoon Chili Powder
- 0.5 tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 0.5 tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
Directions
- Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat and add in your ground beef. Cook until no longer pink, breaking it up in the process.
- Once your beef is cooked through, add in 24 ounces of pasta sauce, your seasonings, and salt and pepper to preference. Mix well and reduce the heat to low.
- For your alfredo sauce, in a blender or food processor, add your cottage cheese, milk, grated parmesan, and garlic cloves. Blend until smooth and then set aside.
- Cook your pasta according to the package directions. When done, strain it and set aside.
- Grab a 9x13 casserole dish and add your pasta. Pour your alfredo sauce on top, mix well, and spread out evenly.
- Add your meat sauce on top of your pasta and spread out evenly.
- Top with your shredded cheese, and place in the oven on 350F for 10-15 minutes or until your cheese is melted.
- When done, remove from the oven, give it a taste, and add salt and pepper to preference.
