Ingredients
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Melted butter
- 1 cup Egg
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
- 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg.
- 4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- 5. Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and smooth the top.
- 6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
